1"Bhikkhus, there are these two kinds of veneration. What two? Veneration with material goods and veneration with the Dhamma. These are the two kinds of veneration. Of these two kinds of veneration, veneration with the Dhamma is foremost."

1"Dvemā, bhikkhave, pūjā. Katamā dve? Āmisapūjā ca dhammapūjā ca. Imā kho, bhikkhave, dve pūjā. Etadaggaṁ, bhikkhave, imāsaṁ dvinnaṁ pūjānaṁ yadidaṁ dhammapūjā"ti.
