1"Bhikkhus, there are these two kinds of seeking. What two? Seeking for material goods and seeking for the Dhamma. These are the two kinds of seeking. Of these two kinds of seeking, seeking for the Dhamma is foremost."

1"Dvemā, bhikkhave, pariyeṭṭhiyo. Katamā dve? Āmisapariyeṭṭhi ca dhammapariyeṭṭhi ca. Imā kho, bhikkhave, dve pariyeṭṭhiyo. Etadaggaṁ, bhikkhave, imāsaṁ dvinnaṁ pariyeṭṭhīnaṁ yadidaṁ dhammapariyeṭṭhī"ti.
