1“Mendicants, there are these four factors of stream-entry. What four? Associating with good people, listening to the true teaching, proper attention, and practicing in line with the teaching. These are the four factors of stream-entry.”

1"Cattārimāni, bhikkhave, sotāpattiyaṅgāni. Katamāni cattāri? Sappurisasaṁsevo, saddhammassavanaṁ, yonisomanasikāro, dhammānudhammappaṭipatti – imāni kho, bhikkhave, cattāri sotāpattiyaṅgānī"ti.

Sagāthakapuññābhisandavaggo pañcamo.

2Abhisandā tayo vuttā,
Duve mahaddhanena ca;
Suddhaṁ nandiyaṁ bhaddiyaṁ,
Mahānāmaṅgena te dasāti.
