II. About Māra (2nd) — SN23.18: Naturally Not-Self

1At Sāvatthī.

Seated to one side, Venerable Rādha said to the Buddha:

“Sir, they speak of this thing called ‘naturally not-self’. What is naturally not-self?”

“Rādha, form, feeling, perception, choices, and consciousness are naturally not-self.

Seeing this … They understand: ‘… there is no return to any state of existence.’”

1Sāvatthinidānaṁ.

Ekamantaṁ nisinno kho āyasmā rādho bhagavantaṁ etadavoca:

"‘anattadhammo, anattadhammo’ti, bhante, vuccati. Katamo nu kho, bhante, anattadhammo"ti?

"Rūpaṁ kho, rādha, anattadhammo, vedanā anattadhammo, saññā anattadhammo, saṅkhārā anattadhammo, viññāṇaṁ anattadhammo.

Evaṁ passaṁ … pe … nāparaṁ itthattāyāti pajānātī"ti.
